AHAM Names Samsung’s Doell To Chair Canada Council

The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers Canada (AHAM Canada) has named Warner Doell, vp/sales and marketing, Digital Appliance Business, Samsung Electronics Canada Inc. as Chair of AHAM’s Canada Council. The Council is AHAM Canada’s membership body that oversees the association’s work in Canada. Doell brings 24 years of experience in various capacities in the home appliance industry to the role, and in this new leadership position, he will also serve as a voting member of AHAM’s Board of Directors, according to AHAM.

“My vision as Chair is to ensure AHAM Canada provides maximum value to member companies and is a strong advocate for our industry in Canada,” said Doell. “AHAM as an entity operates in both Canada and the U.S. as one organization and this unique north-south alignment is important with our industry facing similar governmental and regulatory challenges in both countries.”

Bruce Rebel, vp/general Manager of AHAM Canada, said, “Warner’s industry experience and support of AHAM Canada over the past two years makes him a great choice to lead the AHAM Canada Council for the next two years as it tackles a weighty regulatory agenda in Canada.”
