As the Summer Las Vegas Market approaches, Atlantic, Inc. has announced that it secured a license for Hello Kitty merchandise. The deal has been finalized but product development was ongoing at press time.
As a consequence, the company told HomeWorld Business that it would bring images to the market so buyers would have a chance to see just what the company plans.
One way the Atlantic Hello Kitty program will differ from much of what has come before under license: The Atlantic profile is not so much aimed at juveniles as it is Millennials. James Dardashti, Atlantic’s chief operating officer, said the company believes an older demographic that has grown up with the character will embrace Hello Kitty as young adults.
Plans call for a Hello Kitty ottoman, folding table, metal stacking stool, folding table and balloon chair.
