Lighting vendor Crystorama has launched Designer Style, a contest promotion. In it, designers can showcase their style and compete for a starring role in a Crystorama print advertisement, according to the company.
“We’re continually impressed with the creativity and style that designers bring to a home and we want to share those ideas and inspiration,” Brad Kleinberg, president of Crystorama, said in announcing the contest, which he said “will provide a showcase for designers to display beautiful ways they are using lighting.”
For the Designer Style contest, entrants must email a photo of a Crystorama installation from a client’s project to email@example.com and include the name of their retail source. On receipt of each photo, Crystorama will add it to a Designer Style Facebook photo album. The photo receiving the most likes will win a first-place prize of $500 and get feature treatment in a Crystorama print advertisement later in the year. The second-place winner receives $300 and third place winner receives $100. The sales representative who covers the first place winner’s territory will receive $200. All photos must be emailed between July 1 and August 31. Crystorama will announce the winners on September 2.
“This contest provides us with another opportunity to celebrate talented designers in the lighting industry, and we can’t wait to see their work,” Kleinberg added.
