DeLonghi is taking the wraps off a new top-of-the-line Kenwood blender at the International Home + Housewares Show this week, which incorporates a completely re-engineered blade system with patented blade technology.
The unit’s patented blade technology features a tiered blade system that vertically shifts the position of the blades into the goblet to allow for better coverage within the blending area, creating two distinct chopping zones, according to the company.
Other features include a die-cast metal control panel, a Thermoresist glass container for both hot and cold use, and 1.6L working capacity and six Pre-set functions: Ice/Drinks, Smoothie, Soups, Coarse Chopping, Fine Chopping and Auto Clean.
Under the DeLonghi brand the company is introducing a new space-efficient cappuccino maker that measures only six inches wide. The unit has stainless steel construction and includes filters for a single or double shot of espresso. It is also designed to accept Easy Serving Espresso (E.S.E.) pods and incorporates DeLonghi’s proprietary thermoblock technology, which heats up to the ideal brewing temperature in 35 seconds. The unit also features DeLonghi’s patented milk frothing system, Automatic Flow Stop, a 3-in-1 filter holder and cup warmer.
