Fagor America has partnered with chef Laura Pazzagalia for a series of pressure-cooking demos at select Williams-Sonoma locations in the San Francisco Bay Area this month. Pazzaglia, the creator of hippressurecooking.com, will demonstrate the ease, versatility and creativity of pressure cooking in her appearances.

The scheduled pressure-cooking classes at Williams-Sonoma are August 8 and 15 at the Williams-Sonoma Los Gatos location from 12pm-2pm; and August 23 at the Union Square location from 12pm–2pm. Pazzagalia will also demonstrate pressure cooking on August 22 at Toque Blanche, in Half Moon Bay, CA from 6:30-8pm.
Pazzaglia calls on inventive recipes and her detailed knowledge of the inner workings of the pressure cooker in her live demos and on her Hip Pressure Cooking website. Along with the basics, she explores a wide range of meals from various cultures and different dietary needs.
The pressure-cooker chef will utilize Fagor’s Futuro pressure cooker in her demonstrations, an 18/10 stainless steel cooker manufactured in Spain and designed with compact handles for easy storage. The Futuro also touts a unique automatic locking mechanism, the company said.
Suggested retail prices for the Futuro Pressure Cooker range from $119.99 to $159.99 depending on size. A Futuro five-piece set is also available with an SRP of $189.95. The Futuro 6-quart and 10-quart pressure cookers are available at Williams-Sonoma stores and on the retailer’s website.
