Harold Import Company (HIC) is continuing to grow its partnership with the Careers Through Culinary Arts Program, C-CAP, with a new line of culinary tools and continued support of C-CAP events. The company will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these items back to the C-CAP organization.
The tools come with collectible recipe cards containing an exclusive recipe created by a C-CAP student as well as a bio of the student. The product packaging reflects the company’s initiative, enabling consumers to learn about C-CAP and easily recognize participating items on store shelves.
HIC will also be sponsoring the Culinary Futures Chicago event at the upcoming International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago which supports C-CAP as well. The event takes place on Sunday, March 16 at 5:30pm in McCormick Place South Building room S-105. Similar to the Les Dames d’Escoffier International Culinary Futures Event at AmericasMart in Atlanta, the event will feature live music, a silent auction, and dishes prepared by C-CAP students from 9 Chicago High Schools. All proceeds go to support C-CAP.
