Joy Mangano, dubbed the “Queen of Invention,” kicked off the final week of HSN’s month-long birthday celebration by shattering records this past weekend, when she sold close to half a million of her Comfort & Joy MemoryCloud pillows. Mangano sold more than 216,000 sets of her patent-pending pillows on Saturday, July 26, shattering HSN’s previous record for the most units of a single item in a single day.
“All I can say is Wow! This was a hallmark day in my career and I am blessed to be able to share my products through the power of HSN,” Mangano said. “I pride myself on offering products designed to make people’s lives a little easier. Days like these make me so thankful for the incredible loyalty my fans have shown me over the years.”
The “Summer Comfort Home” event was part of HSN’s 37th birthday celebration. Mangano headlined her segment with the Comfort & Joy MemoryCloud pillows, said to offer a lighter, loftier, and more affordable alternative to traditional memory foam pillows. The pillows feature 6-layer TempTexx warming and cooling comfort technology, the retailer said. Other Mangano products that did well this past weekend included the Supreme Steam 900W Premier My Little Steamer with Storage Bag, Huggable Hangers 55-piece Best Set with three Jumbo Totes and Mangano’s Biggest Better Beauty Case three-piece Chic Set.
