Honeywell has launched the Honeywell Bluetooth Smart True HEPA Allergen Remover, which the company stated is the first air purifier utilizing Bluetooth technology to track local pollen counts via a free mobile app and auto-adjust its cleaning levels accordingly. The air purifier is available exclusively at Best Buy.
The company noted that the smart home technology provides homeowners with insights into how their indoor air quality may be affected by outdoor allergens such as mold and pollen from trees, grasses and weeds. By utilizing allergen alerts and auto-set mode, users can customize their units to auto adjust cleaning level according to allergen levels in a specific zip code.
The Honeywell Bluetooth Smart True HEPA Allergen Remover and free companion app contain functions such as allergen alert settings, auto operation, a proximity sensor that automatically turns the air purifier on or off when the connected mobile device enters or leaves Bluetooth range, custom operation schedules and filter change reminders.
The Honeywell Bluetooth Smart True HEPA Allergen Remover is available exclusively at Best Buy stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $249.99. The free companion mobile app is compatible with more recent Apple iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, iPod Touch and Android devices. Kaz manufactures and markets the licensed Honeywell line.
