Las Vegas Market Announces Record Temporary Exhibitor Growth

As its summer show looms, Las Vegas Market announced that it had added an additional 80 temporary exhibitors on B2 In Building B, offering a wide selection of home furnishings including furniture, upholstery, motion, bedding, juvenile, accessories and décor. The organization also reported that it had sold out the temporary presentation space in the directional C-ONE cross category showcase.

The Summer Las Vegas Market runs from Sunday, July 27, to Thursday, July 31, host International Market Centers noted.

This summer, Las Vegas Market will include the largest number of temporary exhibitors in its history, showcasing nearly 500 vendors in 16 temporary collections across five floors in two buildings. Temporary exhibits in Building C continue expanding, with more home décor suppliers on C5, gift resources on C11, and micro-showrooms on C10.

“We have experienced 41% growth in temporary exhibits since launching our gift and home strategic plan in July 2012,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC president of Gift & Home Décor, in updating the state of temporary exhibitors. “This record growth demonstrates the industry’s support and enthusiasm for our strategy to position Las Vegas Market as the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States.”

To support its temporary exhibits, Las Vegas Market will recognize exceptional design, creative merchandising, cohesive brand messaging and inspired visual merchandising with Best Booth awards. It also is running special events to build traffic for temporary exhibitors throughout Buildings B and C including happy hours, a brunch bar, a Gourmet Demo Stage, and a Buyers’ Lounge.
