In May, Lifetime Brands and The Bombay Co. announced they had reached a licensing agreement covering home décor and lighting, wall décor, tabletop, flatware, pantryware, and storage organization. Products emerging from that deal, including a range of decor items, will debut at the The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, January 7-14.
The Bombay Culture Mix collection, which Lifetime Brands plans to make a market feature, offers, as the company characterizes it, a spirit of adventure portrayed in a global mix of color, pattern and texture. Buzz words for the collection, inspired by textile styles from around the world, include tribal, exotic, global and color, Lifetime asserted, adding that consumers can mix and match collection items into a well-traveled lifestyle decor.
Among the products debuting, as the company described them:
- Bombay 20-inch by 16-inch Green Peacock Glass Plaque. A glass wall piece embellished with Silver Leafing, and also available in a blue variation. Suggested retail price is $80.
- Bombay 9-inch Pair of Buddha Bookends. Paired carved bookends styled as an exotic accent for any room. SRP $60.
- Bombay 8.25-inch Buddha Magnifying Glass Holder. A reading aid in a Thai Buddha design. SRP $40.
- Bombay 8.75-inch Buddha Hourglass Holder. A convenient timing organizer in Thai Buddha form. SRP $40.
In addition to Culture Mix, Lifetime Brands is debuting the Bombay Vintage Vogue collection, with femine looks in pale, dusted colors from whites to greys to soft blues and greens.
Bombay modern design puts a spin on romance with the Vintage Vogue collection. Collection elements include a set of two Scroll Fleur De Lis Sconces, SRP $80, and a 30-inch Antique Silver Petal Mirror, SRP $160.
In addition, Lifetime Brands plans to preview the Melannco set of six backless frames in a distressed cream finish. The frames allow purchasers to create one-of-a-kind display showcases ranging in size from 8 inches by 10 inches to 16 inches by 20 inches, the company related.
