MCA Corp., supplier of Magic Chef branded appliances has moved its headquarters to new and larger space to accommodate the company’s growth and better serve its customers, according to Kristin Affatato, director of marketing and brand management at MCA.
“We’ve effectively doubled our space to enables us to better serve our customers,” Affatato told HOMEWORLD BUSINESS®. “We’ve increased our office space from 6,000 square feet to over 14,000 square feet and our warehouse space from 100,000 square feet to over 145,000 square feet.”
The move coincides with the company’s strategic effort to build the Magic Chef brand and transition the company from its original sales driven business model to a marketing model aimed at better connecting the brand with consumers and delivering branded product to its retail partners.
In addition to the expanded warehouse and office space the company will also utilize the extra square footage to build its first in-house showroom. “We’re going to use this to showcase the history of Magic Chef and to tell the story going forward through our new products,” Affatato said.
The company is also using the expanded office space to expand its staff, bolstering its team to provide additional support to its retail partners. “Overall we expect this to help us operate more efficiently and better support the customer side of our business,” she said.
