Ulta could be a winner if a deal between The Miss Universe Organization and Farouk Systems, Inc. captures consumer imagination. The organization and the producer of CHI products announced today that they have partnered to create the Miss Universe by CHI and the Miss Universe Style Illuminate by CHI product line.
The Miss Universe lines, set for exclusive Ulta distribution in the United States, roll out on April 22, the organization stated.
The product line includes personal appliances under the Miss Universe by CHI name and consumable products under the Miss Universe Style Illuminate by CHI name. The beauty tool collection consists of four devices, the Miss Universe Organization stated: an 1800 watt Professional Hair Dryer, a Titanium Hairstyling Iron, a Titanium Volumizing Iron, and a one and a quarter inch Titanium Curling Iron. The consumables collection consists of Restage Dry Shampoo, Work Your Style Flexible Hair, Rock Your Crown Firm Hair Spray, Set the Stage Blow Dry Spray, Spotlight Shine Spray and Moringa & Macadamia Oil.
Developed to suit the women on the go, the Miss Universe products allow women to rework and mold several styles in one day, according to the organization.
“CHI has been a sponsor of the pageant since 2005, providing hair care and styling needs to contestants representing nearly 90 different countries, all with very different hair types,” Paula Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, said in introducing the partnership. “No matter the hair type, CHI consistently delivers flawless, high-quality professional care to the women who compete, allowing each of them to shine on stage.”
