NY Now Launches ‘Market Readiness’ Program For Summer Exhibitors

NY Now, The Market for Home + Lifestyle (formerly NYIGF) will offer its exhibitors access to an expanded “Market Readiness” program, which will be presented as a series of free, pre-Market on-demand webinars and free, at-Market 15-minute business consultations for the summer 2014 show. NY Now’s summer show will take place August 16-20, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal’s Pier 94.

The webinars will be produced jointly by NY NOW and Right Angle Strategies, a business strategy and coaching consultancy led by gift and home industry veterans Stu Teller and Laura Blunt. As an added benefit, Right Angle Strategies will offer free, in-booth 15-minute business consultations at Market for all exhibitors.

A series of 15- to 30-minute webinars will focus on pre-show marketing, sales techniques, booth display and tradeshow operations, as well as post-Market follow-up. Each webinar will have related checklists detailing key action items and key deadlines connected with recommended “Market Readiness” tips and techniques. Exhibitors can download the webinars, at no cost, through the NY Now website starting in early April 2014.
