Former retailer and product designer Pamela Scurry will introduce her new tabletop collection “Shortcuts and Secrets” during the New York Tabletop Market. She will greet attendees and media on the corner of Madison Avenue and 26 Street, right outside of the Forty One Madison building, on Wednesday, April 23 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. under red-and-white striped umbrellas, according to her announcement.
Pamela Scurry was once the proprietress of New York’s Wicker Garden’s Children, a children’s furniture and clothing store, as well as the antique wicker store, The Wicker Garden.
Scurry has also built a career in publishing and design by sharing her tips for making gracious entertaining easy. Her design work has been featured in numerous shelter magazine spreads from Country Living to House Beautiful.
“I love to entertain, and I’ve developed Shortcuts & Secrets that help take the stress out of planning these gatherings,” Scurry said. “By choosing foods you’re familiar with cooking, things you can buy, and colors you love, you can easily pull together a festive spread and still spend time with those you cherish. What’s most important is building memories that family and friends will look back on with a smile and a giggle for years to come.”
“There’s no question that the entire family benefits from sitting down and sharing a meal together, and it’s not only possible, but easy to elevate the mundane to the memorable, and the ordinary to the extraordinary…creating memories that will be cherished forever,” Scurry added.
