In a move to support the rollout of its Airfryer, Philips has partnered with the television series Master Chef to task this season’s contestants with creating a variety of delicious, diverse and inspiring meals using Philips Airfryer.
The series, which airs on FOX each Monday night at 8:00pm will feature an episode later in the season that challenges contestants to create their own culinary creation using the Philips Airfryer. The Philips Airfryer circulates hot air to deliver foods that taste deep fried using only a tablespoon or less of oil.
“Teaming up with Master Chef was a natural choice for Philips; we both share the aspiration to inspire home cooks to bring their culinary passions to every dish they create,” says Jacopo D’Alessandris, CMO, Philips Consumer Lifestyle North America. “Philips Airfryer’s innovative technology makes it easy to cook delicious meals at home using less oil and in much less time than other cooking methods. With Philips Airfryer, tasty, healthy meals are reclaiming their place at the family dinner table.”
Philips Airfryer is also teaming up with the most recent MASTERCHEF winner Luca Manfé, to recreate a number of classics, including one from his new cookbook, My Italian Kitchen, available now. Through a series of recipe videos and media appearances, Manfé will provide tips on how to cook Italian meatballs for summer parties without heating up the kitchen, breakfast frittatas for families juggling a hectic schedule, and Italian grilled cheese sandwiches with an international twist.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented chefs in the industry and experience ingredients and techniques from around the world. But to me, the best dishes will always be inspired by meals created right in the family kitchen,” says Luca Manfé. “Philips Airfryer makes it easy for home cooks to get creative and prepare a wide variety of delicious meals.”
The Philips Airfryer has a built in timer and fully adjustable temperature control as well as a removable drawer and food basket that are both dishwasher safe. The newest model, Viva Collection, features a digital touchscreen interface, 60-minute timer and double layer rack to maximize the Airfryer’s capacity.
