Sasa Demarle Inc. is honoring its partnership with the French Pastry School by incorporating the school’s logo on future Silpat retail packaging. In addition, the company will again this year donate Silpat products to the school in an effort to help train future pastry chefs. Sasa Demarle has been a sponsor of the French Pastry School since 1995.
“We’re proud of our partnership with the French Pastry School. For 18 years, we’ve donated Silpat non-stick baking mats to the school’s classrooms so the best pastry chefs of tomorrow can learn to use tools that will help them deliver exquisite baked goods,” said Pierre Bonnet, vice president of Sasa Demarle Inc.
Widely used in commercial kitchens as well as in the home, the company said, Silpat non-stick baking mats offer stick resistance. Made in France with Silpat’s exclusive meshed silicone, it provides for heat transfer, release and quicker cleanup, the company said.
