Zoku has introduced the Ice Ball, a device that lets users savor their favorite iced drinks on the rocks without diluting the flavor, the company said. The device creates a 2.5-inch diameter sphere of ice which can be added to beverages. The ice melts slower in this form than individual as smaller ice cubes.
Designed in red and white, the Zoku Ice Ball is easy to use, the company said. Consumers just fill the mold with water, freeze and pull apart the two halves to reveal the ice sphere. It will be available in a stack-able set of two and is both BPA free and made of food-safe silicone.
The Zoku Ice Ball has a suggested retail price of $16.95 for the set of two. It will be available for shipment in November 2013.
