Home textile and housewares retailer Anna’s Linens debuted a user-friendly, mobile-optimized version of its e-commerce site on July 1. With nearly one-third of its online traffic originating from mobile devices, the new site is designed to enhance and improve the online shopping experience for those on the move, the company said.
The new site can be accessed from any internet-enabled mobile device and will feature the same functions as the existing e-commerce site, annaslinens.com, but with enhanced features for mobile users, such as access to special offers and coupons, merchandise assortments, the ability to manage one’s account, review order history and find store locations. Users can also share preferred products via social media sites such as Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter.
“This launch was long anticipated,” stated Steven Strickland, vp/marketing and e-commerce. “Considering 30% of the traffic to our e-commerce site came from a mobile device, we knew creating a more user-friendly mobile site was a top priority. The debut of our mobile site has quickly been embraced by our customers, as it provides them with a seamless shopping experience from any location.”
