Top Chef Masters host Curtis Stone and Cake Boss Buddy Valastro will top the lineup of stars appearing in the Cooking Theater at this year’s International Home + Housewares Show, March 15-18 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
Starting at 11:30a.m. on Saturday, March 15 and running through Tuesday, March 18, the cooking demonstrations will showcase the culinary skills of Michelin star rated chef Grant Achatz, Food Network’s Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, Top Chef Masters champions Rick Bayless and Chris Cosentino, Top Chef Fabio Viviani and Food Network chefs Aaron Sanchez and Claire Robinson and PBS’ A Chef’s Life host, Vivian Howard. Also appearing are well-known chefs Jose Andres, Michelle Bernstein, Lorena Garcia, Gale Gand, Ming Tsai and local chef Anupy Singla.
Other chefs include Matt Abdoo, Devin Alexander, Jay Caputo, George Duran, Bernard Guillas, Ingrid Hoffmann, Patrick McMurray, Martial Noguier, Pascale Salam Jaubert and Patty & Tom Erd. Many of the chefs will also be doing book signings after their demonstrations.
The Cooking Theater, jointly sponsored by KitchenAid, Wilton Brands, Robinson Home Products and Whole Foods Market, is the focal point of Savor Home. Located in the South Building, Savor Home is the revitalized Gourmet Food + Specialty Product category in the Dine + Design Expo. On hand will be exhibitors of specialty and gourmet treats and the tools used to prepare them.
