Seattle-based Chef’n Corp. has announced a series of personnel changes to its sales and marketing teams. The company said the moves will help it to better serve the needs of its growing business.
“These personnel changes will allow Chef’n to focus on our top priorities of customer service and product development,” said Bob Ludeman, Chef’n’s executive vp/global sales.
Emily Skelton has been named national sales manager, with responsibility for the gourmet sales channel and management of each of the individual sales rep groups.
Heather Swerk is now director/key accounts and will assume the responsibility of managing Williams-Sonoma, Sur La Table, JCP and Chef’n’s private label programs.
John Sweatt has been appointed to manage both the grocery channel and premium grocery accounts, which include retailers such as Whole Foods and Wegmann’s.
Kelly Burrows adds the company’s e-commerce channel to her international sales responsibilities. This channel includes Amazon.com and other leading Internet retailers.
In addition to the sales team changes, Kirsten Goldberg has joined the marketing team as a senior product manager. Goldberg is an experienced marketer who brings extensive marketing and product management experience to Chef’n.
“Kirsten will be a great addition to the team. Her 10 plus years managing products and consumer goods will lead the marketing team to new strategic levels.” said Karl Mejia, Chef’n’s director/marketing.
