Chris Collins Appointed Arte Italica President

Arte Italica has appointed Chris Collins president, the company has announced. Collins has 30 years of industry experience, the company stated, most recently serving as vp/gm of 7 W New York, where he launched and managed the trade mart in Midtown Manhattan.

Prior to that, Collins held senior executive positions with companies including Colonial Candle of Cape Cod, Figi and Russ Berrie & Co.. Collins has been an executive consultant with several other leading industry brands and organizations as well.

In his role as president, Collins will supervise all business activity within the Arte Italica organization, according to the company.

“I could not be more excited to be back on the wholesale and product side of this industry and to be with such a well respected luxury brand as Arte italica,” he asserted. “I look forward to doing my part in bringing the company to new levels of success by building stronger relationships with our customer base as well as further strengthening the brand within the luxury marketplace.”

Earl Skidmore, the company’s owner, commented, “I’m extremely excited about Arte Italica’s future with Chris Collins taking over the leadership role as president. Collins will transition into his new role at Arte Italica in the upcoming months. Until then he will be completing responsibilities at 7 West.
