As Dale Tiffany readies for the Dallas International Lighting Market, variety and trend are driving show introductions. The company plans to introduce a fair number of Favrile branded products at the show, to be held January 17-21 at the Dallas Market Center, but the core debut is of Dale Tiffany and Mosaic fixtures.
Ken Kallet, Dale Tiffany executive vp, said the company hadn’t generated a significant fixed lighting introduction in its namesake brand for some time and decided the moment was right. The location was correct, too, given the specialty lighting store buyers attendance in Dallas.
In portable lighting, Dale Tiffany continues to expand Favrile beyond its décor-oriented, artglass core. So among the Favrile introductions in Dallas are uplights. However, introductions also will include vases and other décor items.
In all, Dale Tiffany plans to bring about 70 new SKUs to the show, Kallet said.
