Gibson Leverages ‘Back To School’ With New Kitchenware Sets

Gibson Overseas, Inc. is experiencing strong back-to-school sales as a result of the introduction of combination sets featuring newly redesigned Gibson Home brand packaging, the company reported. The new combination sets in both cookware/kitchenware and dinnerware are designed to provide convenient solutions to younger consumers heading back to school or into new apartments.

“The new Gibson Home packaging has a cooler, more chicly understated look that is right on target for back to school,” Grace Saari, Gibson’s director/marketing, said. “Parents and students both like the value pricing and the collection designs— plus, they are definitely drawn to the updated gift box.”

The kitchenware series, Total Kitchen, comes in 39- and 50-piece sets, with suggested retail prices of $44.99 and $74.99, respectively.

The smaller combination set features non-stick cookware, a roaster with rack, cutlery and cutting board, measuring spoons and cups, bag clips and nylon kitchen tools.

The 59-piece cookware set includes, in addition to the basic set, a pizza pan, mixing bowl, salt and pepper shakers, storage containers, ice cube tray and serving utensils, among other kitchen staples

The Deluxe Essentials Plus Series is a 32-piece tableware combo set, including flatware and glass tumblers along with dinner plates, mugs and bowls. The set is available in blue, red, and green at a $30.99 suggested retail.
