Honeywell Readies Infrared Heaters For Fall Launch

Honeywell has expanded its home environment assortment for this spring, summer and fall, introducing new heaters, fans, air purifiers and humidifiers. The brand’s new home comfort appliances, previewed at a Honeywell event in New York last month, include a new line of infrared heaters.

Three Honeywell infrared heaters are set to launch this September in a good, better, best assortment, in a sleek and modern design. Kaz manufactures and markets the licensed Honeywell home comfort line.

The mid-tier model, the Honeywell EnergySmart Infrared Heater, model HZ-970, has a heat output of 5,200 BTUs. The EnergySmart model includes energy-saving controls that are said to help lower energy bills by up to 25%, according to the company. The unit also has an Energy Usage Indicator for easy reference and four timer settings to limit usage during unoccupied periods.

The model features top access controls, two heat modes and programmable thermostat with remote control. The Honeywell EnergySmart infrared heater has a suggested retail price of $179.99.
