HSN’s Emeril By Snapware Food Storage Launch Backed By Facebook Contest

World Kitchen’s Snapware brand has today officially announced a collaboration with Chef Emeril Lagasse and will launch Emeril by Snapware food storage via multichannel retailer HSN, beginning today. The news was previously reported in the HomeWorld Business® December 10 issue.

The first airings on HSN will happen today, December 14, at  2 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST. Emeril also will be on HSN December 15 at the same time slots.

To celebrate National Organization month, which is January, Snapware will launch its Get Organized and Get to the Big Game Sweepstakes, delivering solutions, recipes and a chance for one Facebook fan to visit New Orleans to watch the Super Bowl on Februrary 3, 2013.

“Party prep makes all the difference when entertaining,” said Lagasse. ” Using Snapware containers makes advanced prep a whole lot easier. These simple solutions allow you to enjoy more time with guests. I use these products at home and in my kitchens and, together with Snapware, we’re bringing one lucky Facebook fan to New Orleans to enjoy a meal at my restaurant and cheer on their team in the Superdome.”

Carl Warschausky, World Kitchen president and CEO told HomeWorld Business , “At World Kitchen, we know entertaining happens year ’round, but there is a 100-day window of time when the kitchen is busier than ever.”

The window opens at Halloween and stays ajar until the Super Bowl, according to the company.

“We are proud to create and deliver versatile solutions with our brands to help hosts entertain with ease,” Warschausky said.

Those who “like” the Snapware brand Facebook page between today and January 13, 2013 can access exclusive entertaining and organization tips, and New Orleans-inspired recipes from Chef Lagasse. Fans are encouraged to enter the Get Organized and Get to the Big Game Sweepstakes daily for the chance to win airfare and accommodations to New Orleans as well as a night at Lagasse’s restaurant and tickets to the big game.
