Product Design & Development Director
Established, Southern California based, creative Houseware Product Development Company seeks an experienced, creative, Product Development Director.
Requirements:
• University, or Polytechnic graduate in Product Design or Engineering.
• At least 5 years relevant experience in consumer product design field.
• Able to work within and lead product development and design team.
• Able to help set product development strategy & direction.
• Strong knowledge in product development & technical design.
• Strong knowledge in Photoshop, AI/CorelDraw, Solidworks & other 3D software
• Product Design and project management & follow up.
• Mature with a strong sense of creativity & initiative.
• Strong inventive skills.
• Responsible for all product development & design.
• Able to conceive of new products in company’s core categories.
• Ability to lead and motivate design team.
• Strong organization, project management and negotiation skills.
• Willing to travel both domestically and abroad (mostly Asia).
