The Sharper Image will offer a branded line of small kitchen electrics through its licensing agreement with Emson USA, a manufacturer of small kitchen appliances and a direct response marketer.

Products sold under the Sharper Image brand will be available by this fall at Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy's and JC Penney, the company said in a press release.

The 5-year agreement extends to the U.S. and Canadian markets and includes products such as the new Sharper Image Super Juicer currently being sold both on television and at retail. Additional products under development will include: blenders, coffee-makers, cookers, and other small kitchen electrics.

"Emson USA has the product development and design capabilities that match The Sharper Image's overall branding efforts. Their ability to successfully market to a broad audience via Direct Response TV assists in driving sales into brick and mortar retailers," said Federico de Bellegarde, vice president of licensing at The Sharper Image.

"The Sharper Image is a coveted brand with high consumer recognition," states Ed Mishan, CEO Emson USA. "The Brand can now be extended to Kitchenware products that blend technology with great designs. Our Direct Response TV Advertising will foster increased brand awareness as well as educate the consumer on our product's features and benefits."
