The Summer 2013 Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market, July 29 to August 2, will launch c-ONE, a new, cross-category showcase of directional tabletop, gift and home resources in both permanent and temporary presentations. Organizers stated that c-ONE will offer about 45 design resources.
Anchor tenants for the c-ONE debut are Alessi USA, which will showcase design-led gift and home accessories in a 1,230-square-foot permanent showroom, and Vietri, which will feature its collection of Italian-handcrafted tableware and home décor in a 1,200-square-foot permanent showroom. Other well-known brands participating in the showcase are handcrafted metalware producer Michael Aram, occupying a 2,380-square-foot permanent showroom, luxury-rug resource Nourison in a 12,000-square-foot existing showroom and international importer Silkroute in a 3,500-square-foot existing showroom.
Curated temporary presentations complement the c-ONE permanent showrooms. Confirmed participants to date, stated International Market Center, include: Jonathan Adler, with home décor, giftware and furniture presented in 922 square feet, Fatboy USA, with whimsical home furnishings in 387 square feet, Ann Gish, Inc., with bedding, linens and textiles in 704 square feet, and Magisso North America LLC, with housewares and tabletop in 200 square feet.
Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, asserted that c-ONE has been “shaping up to be an amazing collection of some of the best names in gift and home offerings together in one dramatic presentation. This stellar concentration of key brands on the first floor of World Market Center’s Building C will serve as a ‘calling card’ for better gift and home resources presented throughout the market.”
