International Market Centers announced today that it is continuing a multi-phase, strategic expansion of its temporary gift and home décor exhibition space in Building C during the Winter 2014 Las Vegas Market January 26-30, 2014. The show operator is adding three new themed product sections to the Las Vegas World Market Center: Veranda presents outdoor and casual home furnishings on floor C5, Gallery showcases better home textiles resources also on C5 and Fashion assembles personal care and fashion accessories on C11.
IMC reported that it established the themed section to deepen the temporary exhibits and facilitate cross-category shopping. The initative represents a significant step toward full occupancy in Building C, the company added. Temporary exhibition space on floors C1, C5 and C11 now will cover an excess of 90,000 square feet, according to IMC.
“These three new categories of temporary exhibits are a continuation of the Las Vegas Market’s overall expansion of better gift and home décor suppliers,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers, which operates the show. “Building C will now offer buyers access to 13 unique and distinctly themed product categories of temporary exhibitors, creating additional synergies between permanent showrooms and related temporary resources, and furthering our position as the leading home furnishings and gift market in western U.S.”
