William F. Lacey has been named chief financial officer for International Market Centers, operators of the World Market Center in Las Vegas and key High Point Market showroom facilities. Lacey is assuming the role of Kathy Venezia, who will remain at IMC through the end of the year to assist with the transition.
Most recently, Lacey was an executive vp/cfo for GSE, a Houston-based manufacturing company. Prior to GSE, Lacey held senior financial positions with Animal Health and Rawlings, and has 30 years of experience with public and private equity-owned companies. In addition, IMC said, he has led two companies through their initial public offering processes and has significant capital markets and transaction experience.
Lacey will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function. He will also ensure that accounting controls are in place to prepare the company to comply with the regulatory reporting requirements of a public company, officials said.
“We are very fortunate to have someone of Bill’s professionalism and track record to lead a best-in-class financial organization at IMC,” said Bob Maricich, CEO of International Market Centers. “We will look to his capabilities and leadership to actively manage our capital structure and lender relationships, in addition to optimizing operational performance based on strategic corporate objectives and market opportunities.”
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join IMC’s talented and capable team and be part of a company that is well positioned in its respective industries and with incredible growth potential,” Lacey said. “I look forward to working with our various stakeholders to add a dimension of deep financial rigor, insight and controls which will translate into even greater operational value to IMC.”
