Italy’s DeLonghi Group Reports 2012 Revenue Gains

Italian appliance supplier DeLonghi SpA reported fourth quarter revenues of €541.3 million, or $698.5 million, an increase of 4.9% over the previous year’s results. The company reported that EBITDA, before non-recurring items, stood at €93.9 million, or $121.2 million, up 14.9% from 2011 levels.  

For the full-year 2012, the company reported revenue gains of 7% to €1.53 billion, or $1.97 billion. Net income for the group was €118 million, or $152.3 million, up from €93.9 million, or $121.2 million.

At year’s end, DeLonghi held net debt of €92.9 million, or $119.9 million.

Effective January 1, the group took over the operations connected to Braun Household, thus ending on December 31, 2012 the transitional period during which Procter & Gamble still managed the business.
