On January 1, Joseph Joseph opened its New York headquarters at Forty One Madison. In addition to a full showroom, the company has also moved its headquarters from Long Island to the New York location.
“We chose 41 Madison because it is a fantastic location,” Richard Joseph, co-founder of Joseph Joseph said. “It is a building full of very like-minded companies and a great environment to be in.”
The company, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2013, will be located on the 15th floor of the Forty One Madison building and will be fully renovating the space. According to Richard Joseph, this is the first permanent showroom dedicated to Joseph Joseph in the U.S. The company intends to showcase its full line of products, and will be open during New York Tabletop Markets.
“Being only one of the few kitchenware brands in the Tabletop Market can be to our advantage. In the Tabletop Market, we will be introduced to other companies that we may not have had exposure to,” Joseph said. “It’s a very nice place to do business.”
Additionally, the company will be building its own U.S. customer service, finance and supply chain team. Previously, the U.K.-based Joseph Joseph had used an outsourced third-party provider, which, according to Joseph, “has done an excellent job” building the business in the U.S. and “got us to the stage where we can now set up our own operational team.”
The company will continue to maintain its space at the NY Now market, Richard Joseph said.
