Lancaster Colony Commercial Products introduced Pensofal bakeware and cookware to the United States at last month’s International Home + Housewares Show, under an exclusive agreement to distribute the Italian cookware manufacturer’s products in the U.S. market. Pensofal cookware includes such features as ceramic non-stick pan interiors as well as induction capabilities and removable handles.
The Italian cookware company’s initial launch in the U.S. incorporates its Terre di Siena collection, which features saturated color exteriors— with colors such as olive, pearl white and passion— and white, stain-resistant ceramic interiors. The cookware’s PFOA-free BioCeramix non-stick coating is designed to create a consistent, smooth cooking surface, the company said.
The Terre di Siena collection features a patented reinforced, multilayer honeycomb base with an anti-warp and anti-skid bottom, designed to improve heat transmission, the company added. The Pensofal Terre di Siena collection has initially rolled out with 26 cookware items, all of which are crafted for compatibility with electric, gas or induction stovetops.
