The launch of three new floors, relocation of temporary exhibits and a series of expanded and re-merchandised gift and home décor resources will greet visitors to the Las Vegas Market, July 29 to August 2, at World Market Center Las Vegas. The initiatives will bring hundreds of new-to-market, upper-end gift and home décor lines to the Summer 2013 Las Vegas Market, according to host International Market Centers.
“Retailers who haven’t been to the Las Vegas Market in the past year, will be amazed at the change in size, scope and depth of gift and home décor resources.” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “During the last market alone, we added 70 new showrooms, 170 new temporary exhibitors and 230,000 square feet of resources. Las Vegas Market is the only cross-category market that presents the ‘total home’ concept from home furnishings to decorative accessories to gift.”
The three new floors of gift and home décor include c-ONE, a curated collection of gift, tabletop and home resources in permanent and temporary presentations, as well as C4, which extends the market’s better home décor and textile resources, and C10, a showcase of cross-category fashion-forward resources including contemporary gift lines, children’s products, fine stationery and letter-press, personal care and wellness, fashion accessories, jewelry, men’s gifts, tech accessories, and luggage and travel accessories, IMC related.
With more than 45 key brands on the first floor of Building C, the host company noted, c-ONE. showcases directional tabletop and gift and home resources in both permanent and temporary presentations. Alessi USA, Ann Gish, Fatboy USA, Gold Leaf Designs, Jonathan Adler, Magisso North America LLC, Michael Aram, Nine6 and VIETRI anchor the floor. For its part, C4 builds around anchor resources Andrew Martin International, Cisco Brothers, Luna Bella, Moe’s Home Collection, Palecek, Surya and TerraSur.
Not only that, but floors C4, C3 and B3 incorporate 75+ home décor vendors within 250,000 square feet of intelligently designed and richly merchandised showroom space, IMC stated. With a lifestyle orientation, C10 centers on anchors Archipelago and Just Got 2 Have It.
This summer, the market will concentrate more than 400 temporary exhibitors, categorized into 10 themed product categories, on floors C5 and C11, with C5 emphasizing home décor, furnishings, bedding fashions, home textile designs and gifts and C11 divided into six designated categories. Gift, Gourmet, Global, Trend, Vintage and Carry. Additional gift resources will reside on floors C6 through C9 with notable suppliers including Imagine That, Ivystone, Three Hands Corp. and VIP International on C6; C & F Enterprises, Creative Co-op Inc. on C7. Floors C8 and C9 will focus on a cross-section of holiday gift products, decorations, lighting and accessories. Newcomers Toyology and Grace Direct, will join existing C8 tenants ranging from Burton and Burton, Gifts of Nature and Grassland Roads Amscan, to Next Step Reps and One Coast. Demdaco, Ganz, Midwest CBK, Ohio Wholesale and Roman are notable tenants featured on C9.
