YUBE has expanded its modular storage furniture line to include metallic cube panels. Consumers now can customize their YUBE Cube systems by adding silver or white steel cubes to create stylishly minimalist, upscale furniture and storage pieces. YUBE builds it storage cubes from frame and outer panels made of eco-friendly materials that rigidly lock into place for easy assembly. Consumers can combine YUBES in a variety of configurations including horizontal rows and vertical stacks. The original YUBE offered white panels made from sugarcane. The new, metallic cubes include matte panels made from recycled stainless steel. “We created the YUBE Cube to offer customers the ability to create truly unique and personalized, high-quality storage furniture,” said Jeff Greenstein, YUBE president and co-founder in announcing the line addition. “The new metal panels will take our original design to the next level, filling the need for attractive, modular, metallic furniture." Ready to ship for a January 2012 roll out to consumers, YUBE will offer the new white and silver metallic cubes in a range of kits that will allow purchasers to build various and differently sized storage units. The company also will offer individual metallic panels in sets of four, permitting consumers to easily incorporate them into custom configurations or replace existing white panels.
