Woll has introduced a Diamond Plus Induction 8-inch diameter sauté pan. The new pan is a companion piece to Woll’s Diamond Plus Induction-ready 8-inch frypan. The new sauté pan features a compact size suitable for smaller kitchen and an extra-thick 7.5 mm energy-efficient induction-compatible stainless steel base that is said to offer uniform heat distribution for the quick temperature rises and spikes of induction cooking. The base is guaranteed not to separate. The excellent heat properties of diamonds also help to give this pan an extremely uniform cooking temperature, making it ideal for browning, searing, and deglazing, the company said. The German-designed pan is also compatible with gas, ceramic, radiant, halogen or electric ranges. A computerized robotic nano-technology coating application process guarantees no cracking, blistering, bubbling or separating of the patent pending diamond reinforced cooking surface, according to Woll. All Diamond Plus Induction cookware is oven-safe to 500°F, metal utensil- and dishwasher-safe, and PFOA free. It carries a limited lifetime warranty and is made in Germany. The 8-inch sauté pan, model number 720DPIL, features 2.6-inch-high walls and comes with a vented, safety glass, metal rimmed cover. It will be available for shipping in mid-October to gourmet and specialty retailers. The new Woll sauté pan has a suggested retail price of $129.99. Tags: Housewares Cookware & Bakeware |
