Online home marketplace One Kings Lane has turned to traditional media for its first-ever national brand advertising campaign, the company announced. The Design is Never Done campaign, created by the company’s new advertising agency of record, Wieden+Kennedy New York, broke with a television spot entitled, “The Broken Lamp,” on Sunday, October 14 during the ABC show “Revenge.” Demonstrating the personal journey and moments of inspiration that a consumer experiences when designing a room, the interactive campaign consists of three television commercials supported by digital and social media. Print ads follow in 2013, One Kings Lane noted. With myriad styles and objects to discover on the company’s website, the campaign asserted, the story of the home is never quite complete and, so Design is Never Done. Advertising delivers the sentiment as the One Kings Lane philosophy, the company stated.
