US Acrylic’s new Glam Cubes, available to ship now, offer young consumers “an inexpensive way to organize their everyday needs,” president Monique Hsu told HOMEWORLD BUSINESS®. “Glam Cubes are practical, versatile and fun. They are compact, portable and save space, and you can keep all your cosmetics stored at your fingertips. You can also mix and match colors and styles,” she said. There are three styles in the collection: a Face Cube, in blue and clear; Lip Cube, in pink and clear; and Nail Cube, in purple and clear. They have a suggested retail price of $7.99. The Lip Cube’s top layer has four compartments for lipsticks and two compartments that are taller to hold lip glosses, which are becoming increasingly popular with younger consumers, Hsu said, or lip liners. It features a bottom compartment that could hold lip balm tins or other everyday needs. US Acrylic’s Glam Cubes are targeted toward mass and specialty store chains, as well as cosmetic and accessory stores with a focus on the younger consumer.
