The World Market Center Las Vegas plans to build the Road to Emerald. The Pantone-inspired “total home” product exhibit will appear during the Winter Las Vegas Market from January 28 through February 1 on the first floor of Building C.

In a partnership with Pantone and Houzz, show organizers will develop three Road to Emerald lifestyle concepts to showcase noteworthy products from current and future Las Vegas Market tenants. All three will reflect the influence of Pantone present and past annual color picks: Emerald, Tangerine Tango and Honeysuckle.

“We wanted to create a visually striking, merchandised window display that represents the ‘total home’ product offering available at Las Vegas Market,” said Dana Andrew, vp global marketing & communications at show organizer International Market Centers. “Plus a dazzling Emerald City right here in Las Vegas is a natural. From furniture and accessories to gifts and tabletop, our Road to Emerald mixes on-trend products with impactful colors that continue to bring excitement to home and gift stores.”

Featured products include: a light fixture designed by Mary McDonald for Robert Abbey, chairs and tables from Las Vegas Market newcomers Julian Chichester and Mr. Brown, and a best-selling vanity table and chair from Christopher Guy, who returns to Las Vegas Market this winter in a new showroom, IMC noted, all complemented by a “glam-inspired” upholstered lingerie swivel chest and faux sheepskin bench created by Michael Amini of AICO. Other featured products include a dining table from Las Vegas Market first-timer Stanley Furniture, adorned with a complete tabletop presentation from Alessi, a future Las Vegas Market tenant. Wall décor from the Barry Dixon Collection by Arteriors also takes the spotlight along with a new rug from the Genevieve Gorder Collection by Capel and eclectic accents from Phillips Collection.

IMC asserted that Emerald ushers in sophistication and luxury in fashion industries but the lush and verdant color also fills interiors with a sense of renewal.

“The presentation will artfully demonstrate how retailers and interior designers can incorporate bright, bold, relevant colors and product into their store fronts and design projects, deliver thoughtfully merchandised lifestyle vignettes in their floors, and ultimately educate their customers on how to use home accents, gifts and furniture to freshen up an existing room and complement their homes,” said Andrew.

Adding a dynamic interactive component to the Road to Emerald showcase is a virtual display on Houzz, an online platform for home remodeling and design. Accessible online or from a mobile device, the virtual Houzz display allows users to work with the three vignettes via online ideabooks that will incorporate green tags conveying information about the product and vendor. iPads in front of each vignette will allow industry professionals attending on-site to comment in the Road to Emerald ideabooks.
