StoreBound today announced the bolstering of its management team with the promotion of Shaun MacKenzie to the newly created position of President and the naming of marketing veteran Phillip Underhill to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer. MacKenzie, previously senior vp/sales, will continue to oversee the sales organization while overseeing new operational initiatives. “We added the position of President in an effort to support the rapid growth of the company,” said Evan Dash, CEO of StoreBound. “The appointment of MacKenzie reflects his skills and contributions to the company since the beginning of our operations.” Prior to joining StoreBound, MacKenzie was a veteran of the housewares industry, serving as President of Move Collective USA as well as senior vp of Breville USA. “I've had the opportunity to work with Shaun for almost a decade,” said Dash. “I'm extremely pleased to see him assume the responsibility of President where he can have an even greater impact on the future growth and performance of the company.” StoreBound has also named Phillip Underhill to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer. “In less than 18 months we have launched numerous products across four brands and have undertaken a major digital marketing initiative to support the introduction and rollout to retailers around the world,” said Dash. “Phil and I spent over a year working together to produce digital content to support our various product launches,” said Dash. “Based on Phil’s knowledge and expertise, as well as the results that we've achieved together, made it a natural for him to join the team to head-up our marketing initiatives.” Dash continued, “We have an aggressive marketing strategy to execute across several different channels to support our launches, drive brand awareness, build a consumer community, and ensure that we're delivering the best possible consumer experience.” In the CMO role, Underhill will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, packaging and brand management.
