Mavea LLC is rolling out a new line of water filters and systems to North America. The international water filtration manufacturer, which has U.S. operations in Elgin, IL, is showcasing its new generation of water filtration products this week at the International Home + Housewares Show. The new Mavea Classic Fit Filter features the company's advanced filter technology, which is said to be a fast filtration process, with no pre-soaking required to activate the filter. The company also noted that the new filter has clean enhancements, with a filter micro-screen that reduces the release of black particle bits; and for safety it contains silver to provide antimicrobial protection and extend and prolong filter life. The Mavea Classic Fit Filter is a traditional barrel-shaped filter format that not only fits the brand's Classic Fit Systems, but also fits Brita water systems. The Mavea Classic Fit Filter two-pack is available for a suggested retail of $9.95. All of the company's filters and systems are BPA-free. The filters are completely recyclable, noted Mavea, and the company also supports the line with a filter return and recycling program. Tags: Housewares Home Environment Sustainability |
