The High Point Market and the collaborative online community Decor Mentor are co-hosting a global Twitter Chat at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20. The event will include a preview of new products slated for introduction at the upcoming Spring High Point Market, April 20 to 25.

HPMA is inviting market exhibitors to submit photos of their April introductions to editorial@highpointmarket.org by 5 p.m. eastern time on March 14. Companies are limited to two photo submissions each.

The Decor Mentor representatives will curate a collection of their top picks on Twitter at 6 p.m. on March 20, using the official High Point Market hashtag #hpmkt. They also will discuss trends, market tips and events.

Product photos submitted for the chat will feature on a Sneak Peek pinboard on the High Point Market’s Pinterest page. The Decor Mentor curated selections will have their own Pinterest board. A link to all of the Pinterest boards will appear on Twitter throughout the chat.

“We had an amazing number of people log in to our last two Twitter chats,” said High Point Market Authority vp/marketing Cheminne Taylor-Smith. “In fact, we had such an overwhelming response last Fall that we almost took down Twitter. This is a fast-paced event, and the addition of the Pinterest boards allows people to take more time with each of the product photos. This is one of the earliest and most exciting ways to see the newest trends and products before the April market.”

The chat is open to everyone on Twitter. HPMA’s Twitter handle is @hpmarketnews and Decor Mentor’s is @decormentor.
