Exhibitors participating in the summer 2013 edition of NY NOW, The Market for Home & Lifestyle, formerly NYIGF have exclusive access to a four-part Market Readiness program, addressing marketing and selling strategies, tradeshow operations and lead follow-up. The series, produced jointly by NY NOW and Right Angle Strategies, includes three pre-show webinars, one post-show webinar and free, 15-minute business consultations at market. “This program addresses the basics, as well as more advanced techniques for tradeshow preparation and success, making it worthwhile for both new and returning exhibitors,” said Christian Falkenberg, NY NOW director and svp/GLM. PR expert Cathy Steel of Steel Associates and Right Angle strategies will lead the first session, Marketing Tools to Make Your Show a Success, from 2 to 3:30 eastern time. Stu Teller and Laura Blunt of Right Angle Strategies will lead the second pre-show webinar, “How to Attract Buyers and Close the Sale,” with Russ Jones of HomeStyle. The seminar will run June 6 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. eastern time. GLM’s operations staff will produce the third session, which addresses tradeshow operations and logistics. It will cover the NY NOW set-up manual, outline time saving pre-show operations, set-up specifics and break down instructions. This session is scheduled for July 11, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. eastern time. In the final, post-show webinar, How to Manage Orders and Leads Generated, Right Angle Strategies will present an overview of successful methods of following-up leads and managing orders. It will take place August 29 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. eastern time. Tags: Housewares Trade Shows |
