Missoni Home has debuted a new candle collection, created in partnership with Apothia. The line, inspired by Italy and its distinct regions, represents luxury interior fragrance for a modern lifestyle augmented by Missoni’s design heritage, the company stated. From stripes to waves to its iconic zigzag, Missoni delivered exteriors inspired by its styling and fabrics. The end result, the company asserted, is as beautiful visually as it is aromatically. The product line, the company related took Rosita Missoni and Ron Robinson of Apothia over a year to develop. The scents incorporated in the line include Maremma, reminiscent of rich, upturned soil from Tuscany and wild thyme, Meditteraneo, mixing the aroma of water lapping over mineral rocks with Mediterranean lavender and Laguna, capturing Italian breezes ripe with cypress and night-blooming jasmine, the company stated. The five-candle set also includes Monterosa, a fragrance that burns with a sandalwood accent, and Bianconero, a Missoni Home signature scent encased in a black and white form.
