From The HSN Website

HSN and HGTV have teamed to launch HGTV HOME Outdoor Living. The product collection available exclusively at HSN launches across the retailer’s multiple platforms today backed by content developed to enhance the shopping experience.

The initial lineup includes a varied lighting presentation.

HSN stated that HGTV HOME Outdoor Living will redefine the outdoor porch, patio and backyard retail landscape. The retailer noted that top HGTV experts including designer John Gadding, star of “Curb Appeal," will appear in HSN  initiatives, offering advice and showcasing an assortment of curated, quality HGTV products including exclusive HGTV HOME branded items.

The multi-year partnership leverages the full potential of the HSN and HGTV brands, with HGTV becoming the face for HSN's outdoor living category, the retailer maintained. The partnership will include creative, original content that will run across the digital and on-air assets of both companies. HGTV HOME Outdoor Living at HSN will showcase products across categories including outdoor equipment, plants, lighting, water accessories, outdoor entertaining, garden tools and outdoor solutions. Lighting includes products ranging from battery operated chandeliers to accent pieces. As part of the launch, both HSN.com and HGTVHome.com will provide exclusive, how-to videos designed help consumers enhance the outdoor areas of their home, the retailer asserted. HSN plans to expand the partnership going forward to introduce HGTV HOME Outdoor Living branded products through additional home categories, it related.

HSN and HGTV plan to collaborate on additional content, featuring HGTV experts in gardening, landscaping, entertaining and more, that will run across both companies' digital platforms.

“HGTV is the perfect partner for HSN," said Bill Brand, chief marketing and business development officer for HSNi. "We have long admired their unparalleled ability to showcase home and design ideas. The new HGTV HOME Outdoor Living collection at HSN is a great way to extend our marketing reach to new audiences and connect them with inspiring content and great products."

Ron Feinbaum, general manager, consumer products, HGTV commented, "HSN is an ideal partner for us because they have a rich understanding of what today's consumers want and need. This special collection will offer smart, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions for everyone's outdoor lifestyle. We expect that HGTV HOME Outdoor Living at HSN will further enhance HGTV's relationship with an audience who is passionate about home— especially those people who believe that the beauty of home should transcend four walls."
