The New York Tabletop Market, held October 9-12, will present a full house of showroom spaces at Forty One Madison. Joining the building will be Lladró and Arc International.
“Lladró has always enjoyed a strong presence in New York City, both at retail and wholesale levels,” said Lladró executive vp/Alejandro Caceres. “In this context, we see our new showroom at Forty One Madison as a pivotal element in our presentation and business strategy. At the heart of the tabletop industry, Forty One provides Lladró with an ideal platform to interact with our distribution and to reach out to our prospects."
As previously reported, Arc International is returning to Forty One Madison and taking over a 5,000-square-foot space on the 21st floor. The showroom space will feature the company’s consumer brands, Luminarc and Cristal D’Arques, as well as its foodservice brands, Chef & Sommelier, Arcoroc, F&D, and Elemental.
“Our decision to return to Forty One Madison Avenue was based upon many factors, including requests from our key retailers to be more centrally located, and the very positive developments in the building itself over the past few years,” said Ron Biagi, ARC's vp/sales and marketing, North America. “Being the world leader in tableware, it only makes sense for Arc to have a presence in the leading tabletop venue, Forty One Madison. We’re pleased and excited to be returning ‘home.’”
The Tabletop Market also will see new showroom locations. Richard Ginori can now be found on the 17th floor, and Nikko on the 22nd floor. Waechtersbach USA is making a change by occupying the showroom across the hall from where it previously was on the sixth floor.
