The Bombay Co. has launched a new e-commerce site at www.bombaycompany.com where it is carrying an array of signature pieces including furniture, décor, gift, wall décor, lighting, bedding textiles, seasonal and holiday items. The assortment includes a mix of best-selling Bombay archival pieces in addition to new items, the company stated, adding that all the online products embody “the brand’s dedication to stylish design and quality craftsmanship.”
Featuring over 250 products, the site stocks items ranging in price from $25 for accessories to $1,500 for investment furniture pieces, the company noted.
The bombaycompany.com home page features lifestyle images showcasing a broad array of items offered in the Bombay collection. Product pages include descriptions, measurements, care instructions, reviews and multiple images. The site also offers functionality developed to foster a sense of community among users, providing connection to the brand through social media on Bombay’s Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest pages. In the checkout process, customers have the option to either register an account or complete a purchase as a guest.

In addition to the e-commerce launch this month, Bombay is partnering with Powell Home Fashions to launch a new furniture line at the Fall High Point Market. At the market, which runs from October 13 to 18, visitors can see the expansion of the Bombay brand, one that will target retailers beyond the core of major mass-market operators that have been its main focus over the past two years. Introductions that are part of the partnership will be unveiled at Powell’s High Point, NC, showroom for the fall market.
