Sam’s Club is ready to guide shoppers to happy holidays. The company has developed so-called cheer guides built around online videos and website product propositions for recliners, stand mixers, brewers and other items, all to demonstrate how Sam’s Club can make holiday shopping and entertainment easier.

According to the Wal-Mart warehouse club division, Sam's Club, in store and through samsclub.com/holiday, has launched its cheer guides as “inspirational holiday solutions for preparing the home, entertaining and gift giving.”

To that end, Sam’s Club has assembled a squad of living Cheer Guides, national experts in decorating, entertaining and charitable giving, to help inspire its members with creative, fun ideas that can help relieve holiday season stress generated by consumers trying to accomplish too much at year’s end.

Brooke Peterson, a lifestyle advisor who developed the Yahoo series Cheap N Easy and who has appeared in the Food Network’s Private Chefs of Beverly Hills, appears in YouTube videos promoting Sam’s as a place that makes holiday shopping easy, as does chef Chris Hammer from the School of Pastry Design in Las Vegas.

Online at samsclub.com/holiday, under the overall banner of Holiday Cheer Starts Here, a rotating assortment of entertainment and gift items includes, currently, a Wolfgang Puck 18-piece cookware set for $99.98 as well as a Harrison fireplace console/TV stand for $599, a Keurig Signature Brewer with a 36 K-cup pack for $128.98, a KitchenAid Professional 5-Quart Mixer for $299.98, and even an artificial Christmas Tree. The stand mixer is offered with free shipping, and the Sam’s Club site alerts brewer browsers to a $50 rebate offer.

Below the rotating product promotion, the site includes a section under the heading “Get ready for holiday guests" that divides into five categories: Home, Pantry, Décor, Kitchen and Electronics. Products offered in the Home category include a recliner, a sofa group with a recliner, an accent chair with matching ottoman, a Tiffany lamp, a mattress and a wool throw rug as well as pillows, towels and an air freshener. Practical necessities are included as well, with toilet paper and Swiffer refills among them. Kitchen mounts serveware, cookware and small electrics, Décor displays holiday decorations, Pantry includes consumables such as single-serve coffee packs and Electrics primarily provides televisions, computers and cameras.
