With the rollout of several new product offerings, Jura Capresso is expanding its coffee and espresso assortments this fall. For those consumers enticed by the ability to dispense coffee a single cup at a time, but not yet ready to embrace pod purchasing, the company has introduced the Capresso Coffee à la Carte Cup-to-Carafe Coffee & Tea Maker, a product that enables consumers to brew java by the cup or the pot.
It also includes a separate tea filter to rapidly brew tea.
The new product's unique brewing system automatically adjusts to the amount of ground coffee in the filter, fully saturating it for the proper period of time.
“Two trends will drive demand for Coffee à la Carte. First, its amazing versatility in brewing what you want, the way you want it. Second, the desire to save money without compromising flavor,” said David Shull, vp/sales and marketing at Jura Capresso.
The new coffeemaker features four preset illuminated brewing buttons for Small Cup, Large Cup, Carafe or Tea. Users can customize each single cup button for volume with visual “press and hold” programming.
Coffee à la Carte brews a single cup of coffee in less than 60 seconds, according to Jura Capresso, and a full 42-ounce carafe in less than six minutes. The programmable tea button rapidly steeps a cup from five to 10 ounces, and the quick brew system provides fast results while still maintaining maximum flavor.
The new Capresso Coffee à la Carte Cup-to-Carafe Coffee & Tea Maker has a suggested retail price of $179.99 and will be available for shipment this month.
