Casabella has announced that it has made in-kind donations equaling $12,000 to The Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City. The company did so to aid relief efforts related to Hurricane Sandy.

Casabella has provided 1,500 four-gallon buckets as well as 1,500 Dustbucans, an all-in-one dustpan, bucket and trashcan combo. The products are being distributed across the city’s relief centers, the company noted.

"On behalf of all employees at Casabella, we extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to those affected by Hurricane Sandy," said Bruce Kaminstein, CEO and founder, Casabella. "We are dedicated to helping recover from the storm that devastated so many of our neighbors and communities, and have encouraged our employees and customers to do the same.”

Casabella is a New York-based company and, as such, said felt it was important to ensure that the products went to areas in the city that are in the most need. The company selected the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City to support its commitment to disperse 100% of contributions to relief efforts. All of the products donated by Casabella were made in the U.S.A.
